Tackle the cause of wet and dry rot to prevent further damage to your timber, plaster and masonry.

Wet and dry rot is a serious nuisance and can spread over time if left to cause significant damage to the timber and masonry in any property. It is often hidden and difficult to spot, so it’s important that the source and extent of the problem is found quickly to prevent expensive structural damage to your property.

Our PCA approved and trained damp specialists will survey your property to find the cause and extent of the problem. We will carry out the essential work needed to identify, remove and rectify wet and dry rot in your property.

Wet and Dry Rot Survey

It’s vital that not only do you know what is causing the wet or dry rot problem, but you must know to what extent the rot has spread.

We’ll carry out a timber survey to find out the extent of the problem and look for signs of decay, damage and infestation by wood boring insects. The survey will cover what needs to be done in detail and the best options available to you.

Wet and Dry Rot Treatment

Once we understand the extent of the damage and cause of the wet or dry rot, brown or white, we can safely remove and replace damaged timber and masonry. We can then treat the cause of the rot to prevent it from coming back in the future.

We have a range of possible treatments that depend on your property. This includes Boron-based chemicals, chemically injected DPC, re-rendering with specialist plasters, `tanking` or structural water-proofing treatments, and redecoration with specialist damp proof paint and coatings.

Treatments are carried out by accredited specialists with as little disruption to your property as possible, using high quality products from leading brands such as Safeguard and Sovereign.

  • Many thanks for the work completed at my mothers house, she wants to pass on her thanks and said that all who came were very helpful and tidied up where ever they went.

  • Just wanted to thank you very much for the work you have done on the house at Harley. We are both really pleased about how good everything now looks and how tidy you have left things – considering the rest of the place is in chaos!!!
    - Yvonne & DaveHarley
  • Thank You for the work you carried out for us, we just can’t believe the difference from before. To think that when I got the keys to the property the place was a wreck and now its our home. I will be recommending you in the future.
    - Mrs BrindStaincross
  • Thank you for doing our survey at such short notice. We thought the sellers were going to pull out and for you to do it on Sunday really helped us. We would never have known the timbers in the cellar were wet and would have ended up with lots of added costs. Thankfully the seller agreed to a further reduction.
