Meet Simon Cooper, founder of All Dry Damp Proofing
All Dry Damp Proofing is led by Simon Cooper, one of Yorkshire’s most recognised damp and property preservation specialists.
Simon began his career in construction as a plasterer in 1983, giving him a practical understanding of how buildings are constructed, how materials behave and why problems develop over time.
Over four decades later, Simon has become a respected specialist in damp investigation, timber problems and structural waterproofing. His hands-on experience is supported by recognised qualifications including HNC Building Management, CSRT (Certificated Surveyor in Remedial Treatment) and CSSW (Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing).
Today, Simon uses this combination of practical experience and technical knowledge to help customers receive accurate advice based on their property, not assumptions.
Damp Sam: educating homeowners and the industry
Simon created Damp Sam to make professional damp knowledge more accessible. Through The Damp Show podcast, YouTube videos, industry talks and online resources, he shares the experience gained from more than 40 years working with buildings.
His content helps homeowners understand damp problems, supports other professionals and challenges common misconceptions around damp and property care. This commitment to education and improving standards continues to influence the way All Dry works today.
